Mary’s Background: Her marketing career started in 1996 while working as an intern for Massport’s Aviation Marketing Department. The technical and creative characteristics of Aviation Marketing were an early ‘aha!’ moment for Mary. Mary ended up becoming a full-time employee and worked at Massport for the following four years.
With solid technical marketing experience in hand, she took a shot at the start-up world. Mary spent the next four years helping start-up companies get off the ground; including the launch of an Australian based product to the USA and steering online marketing efforts for a refurbished computer company.
A move to northern Massachusetts made for another opportunity. Mary was faced with deciding between two job offers – one was a very solid traditional marketing role at an established company, the other was a part-time position for an early start-up Search Marketing firm (at this time most people had never heard of “Search Engine Marketing”). She followed her passion and took a chance with the fledgling Search Engine Marketing company – and that was the best move she ever made. “I fell in love with Search. I had great mentors there. I am very fortunate”. The rest, as they say, is history.
Now with 20+ years of marketing under her belt, and 12+ years exclusively Search; Mary leverages this experience to provide tailored search marketing and business growth solutions to her clients.
Mary is a Google Certified Search Marketing Professional and holds a B.S. from Boston University.When she is not working, you can find Mary boating, skiing, working out, playing pool, and reading (of course 99.99% of the time Search related).
